Stop by the ONE Campaign table this weekend to discover different ways you can be a part of it. Also a big thank you to everyone who has been a part of it already! You are making a difference!
On October 22nd of the year 2000, twenty-five people gathered at Nicolas Valley Elementary School for the very first service of The Rock Church of Temecula Valley. It is now almost 16 years later and we are grateful for what God has done. There are defining moments in every person’s life, there are also defining moments in the life of an organization. When we started The Rock Church of Temecula Valley it was a defining moment; when we purchased our first building it was a defining moment; and there have been several defining moments through the years. Multiple lives being changed and transformed through the power of the Holy Spirit, relationships healed and restored, people who have lost all hope finding true hope for their future, those are all defining moments.
Now again, we are standing on the doorstep of another defining moment. We have an opportunity to continue to make a difference in the Temecula Valley, as countless lives hang in the balance. We have a choice to make as a body of believers; will we maintain the status quo? Or will we use our lives, our gifts, our talents, our time and our resources to make a difference in the place that God has called us to. This defining moment hangs in the balance, success of all we do will be determined by our willingness to hear what God has to say to us, and our obedience to do what He tells us to do!
When we come together as “ONE”, nothing will be unstoppable for us! Anything worthwhile has a price tag to it and we know that if you want something you’ve never had, you have to do something you’ve never done. The road forward for us becoming the church that God wants us to be is not an easy one, but it is a necessary one. So let’s come together as “ONE” and let’s be willing to give up so that we may grow up into full maturity.
I will be in them and you will be in me so that they will be completely one. Then the world will know that you sent me and that you loved them just as much as you loved me.
John 17:23 (NCV)
